Hi Akima,

I would just like to give you some feedback on the essential oil products you kindly supplied to me.

I was diagnosed 12 months ago with a herniated disc at L4/L5 and resultant trapped nerves and peripheral neuropathy to my lower limbs.

The neuropathy blend you supplied was of great benefit- reduced localized pain to lower back and improvement in numbness to both feet. I was applying the cream twice per day and was very pleased with the improvements noted.

You also supplied me with your Nail Blend because of circulation issues to both feet. Again the results were outstanding with infection control and improved feeling to the toes.

I had spinal stenosis surgery in November and have continued to improve with the use of the essential oil products.

For the longest time I had no idea what was wrong with my skin. Doctors would tell me it was fungus, ring worms, some type of dermatitis, eczema & so on and so forth. 

With these guesses they would also give me creams and suggest different shampoo. I've tried Novasone, Kenacomb, Selsun Gold, I changed my soaps to Dermaveen sensitive wash, I even soaked my scalp in vegetable and coconut oil that I couldn't get out of my hair for three days... none of this helped my skin. 

I had accepted that this was simply going to be a part of my life.  My irritable and red skin would never go away.  

I finally found relief with the help of 'A Plus Essentials'.  

The first cream that was blended for me had oils that were meant to help with fungus.  This helped with the itching but didn’t get rid of the redness.  After telling Akima that it didn’t completely solve the problem, she was more than happy to try again.  She instead made a blend that focused on helping with dermatitis & eczema. It took about 4 days of putting it on twice a day before the redness began to fade. By two weeks, for the first time in months, my skin was clear. 

A Plus Essentials has helped not only clear my skin and cure me of my irritable redness, but Akima has also helped restore my confidence and love for my body again. 

I have since been diagnosed with Sebopsoriasis by a dermatologist who has given me specialised cream to treat my skin, however I find that my personalised skin care blend from A Plus Essentials actually works better & quicker when I do have an outbreak.

I will forever be grateful to A Plus for helping me.

Mel's Story

I'm very particular about hand creams because I've never really found one I've liked or I've liked them at first, then didn't any more. I've tried loads. Too thick, too greasy, over scented, not nourishing enough blah blah. Yours is a perfect blend in terms of feel, creaminess and absorption on my hands. One of the reasons I've never committed to a hand cream is because the minute I wash my hands, I can feel it washing away. It always needs to be reapplied because my hands are dry again. 

I washed my hands just to test your product and I noticed straight away there was no slimy feeling WHATSOEVER! And no dryness. It's like my skin has an invisible barrier. The hand cream is IN my skin - NOT just on it, if that makes sense.

Christie's Story

For the last two years my 7 year old daughter has struggled with relaxing and getting to sleep.

I have tried other oils, creams, music, relaxing apps; I even put her in her own room. None of this worked.

I asked Akima to make me a blend for a diffuser, letting her know which oils will set my autistic son off and not to include.

I have been using the minimal amount for a week, the first two days my daughter's mood changed, she was very calm and relaxed. No longer was she pulling her eyelashes out, crying, telling me she was hungry, walking out of her room and awake til midnight. Day 4 she was asleep by 9pm. Having trouble sleeping? The sleep diffuser remedy has ensured that once I have fallen asleep at night I am able to remain at ease and not wake due to anxiety or worries.

I enjoy bike riding, but not the recovery - I was taken by the post workout bath salts, my muscle recovery was significantly enhanced. Akima then further crafted me a post workout blend in a cream form for me to apply to targeted muscle aches post rides.

I also have had great relief from the use of the ‘Pain’ roller which I apply to my neck and shoulders as required.

Sunburn! Akima crafted me this gorgeous Aloe Vera based sunburn recovery! I applied it as soon as she handed it to me, gee I wish I had taken photos! The ease to the pain (burning) was almost immediate upon application and the redness within a mere 2 hour timeframe had significantly reduced. It hydrated my skin and created a beautiful soothing feel. The blend also worked a treat on small burns from oven/stove top accidents I have encountered!

Melanie's Story

I used the soap, the body lotion and night cream tonight. Wow I’m impressed! I really loved everything Akima. The body lotion smells divine. I only used it on one of my legs (from the knee down), but I’m surprised at how it lingers given how little I used. I did the rest of my body with my usual moisturiser to compare. The difference is marked. I can see and feel the rest of my body is dryer, the skin on my right leg has a dewy sheen without any residue whatsoever and feels smooth and moisturised. I need this please asap, in the biggest size!

I’m equally impressed with the night cream. It’s really light and spreads surprisingly well. I used what I thought was a small amount from the sample you provided (figured I’d get a couple of nights use LOL) but I could have used less – it just glided over my skin so easily. For such a light cream I really wasn’t expecting my skin to feel as moisturised as it does.

Love, love, love the soap! I used one of those bath sponges to apply it. The smell is gorgeous, the lather soft and rich, with tiny bubbles, instead of the usual explosion of froth and foam I’m used to. It reminded me of some triple milled soap my uncle once brought for me from overseas.

I think you have got something really special here Akima. I’ve always known you to be someone who never does anything by halves, but I’m flabbergasted at how much you have put into this, everything is very professional – from the website to the packaging, which you’ve obviously put a lot of thought into. I love how the soap was wrapped. Here I was thinking jam jars of beeswax potions and oil burners.

P.S. I wanted to add, I like the glass spray bottle with the anti-viral hand sanitizer you provided. The atomiser is great quality and gives a perfect burst of fine, evenly spread mist. I just wanted to share that because I really noticed that. Sometimes the small details are important and you have obviously done your research.

Michael's Story

I used the PsoriX soap and applied the PsoriX cream after my shower on the areas of my body affected by my rash. So far so good. It feels soothed and a lot less itchy. I can't believe it!  After only three applications it already looks less angry and dry. The rash inside my elbows is completely gone. Everywhere else feels so much better and isn't itchy anymore. I've had this rash for three months, made two doctor's visits, had blood tests and used prescribed steroid creams to no avail. Three days using your cream and it's so much better! It's amazing. I have bought many products from Akima and have always been happy with my purchases and the service provided. She continually alters products to accommodate my allergy to Lavender, without compromising quality or results.

Earlier this year I began to notice some irritation behind my piercings, due to the constant rubbing and excessive wearing of masks. After consulting the doctor and finding out they were called 'keloid scars', I asked Akima if she could create a special blend specifically for this purpose, which she did.

Within the first three days I noticed change. The swelling had subsided and the pain in my ear was no longer so bad that I could now wear my glasses again and sleep on that side.

Following Akima's instructions, which were so thoughtfully printed on the bottle, after applying the spray twice a day, I noticed a significant improvement within a two week period - the keloid scars were almost completely gone!
